Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­PC Support Technician II to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Tucson, AZ.

Job Title: PC Support Technician II
Work Location: Tucson, AZ
Duration: 6 month contract with option to hire
Schedule: Fridays off. 7-5 M-F 1 week, 7-5 M-W, 8 Th, then off on Friday¿
Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma

Job Description:
  • This candidate will be located at a single site but will need to visit several different buildings at that sight. All within walking distance
  • There might be some Win XP assets but all have been upgraded to Win &. Basic Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • It will be standard software and hardware break/fix
  • ¿This is more helpdesk and on-site troubleshooting and repair where the other position was for setting up conference rooms for teleconferencing
  • This is a 9/80 position. They will be working 44 hours one week and 36 the second. They will get every other Friday off. Their could be some on call work.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides basic troubleshooting assistance and ticket resolution for personal computer users.
  • Supports computer users with installation of basic hardware/software and networking components to meet personal computer needs.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots basic problems with individual or multiple computer systems in order to maintain proper functioning; resolves issues including contacting and assisting vendors.
  • Recommends hardware solutions regarding personal computers in assigned areas.
  • Assists with computer studies, projects, and implementation of policies throughout area of assignment.
  • Conducts diagnostic reviews and produces error reports as requested by customers in order to identify and correct any problems.
  • Experience working with personal computer hardware, software, systems, local area networks and terminology.
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to operate computer peripherals including monitors, printers and scanners.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Security + Certification will be required by the end of the year
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Field experience
  • Computer repairs
  • Refreshes
  • Good communications skills
  • Candidates need to have helpdesk and field experience.
  • They must be familiar with computer repairs and and computer installs.
  • The customer has requested that they have good knowledge of Windows.
  • High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years experience.
